Pate’s Picks 03.

Coastal Cowgirl is all the rage right now and you won’t hear me complaining. Bring on the cowboy boots, western-inspired pieces, and effortless style. I think my favorite thing about this trend is how easy it is to achieve — you only need a few pieces to get the look. I’ve been taking inspo from the beachy-cowgirl look and creating fits that still feel like me.

Sharing a few of my favorite items if you‘re ready to cowgirl up.

01.BOOT SCOOTIN.

My mom always says she got a husband in a red dress and I’m wondering if a red pair of boots could also do the trick. I found this pair from Bootbarn and I’ve been wearing mine with all denim or neutrals — the pop of red is so fun. You might not find a man in these but you’ll look (and feel) darn good in ‘em.

02.LIL WHITE TANK TOP.

White tank top + pair of denim shorts — basics every cowgirl needs. My tank favorite lately is of course our new 2x1 rib classic tank. The scoopneck silhouette flatters in a slightly cropped length and makes the perfect base for layering. Trust me, you’ll be grabbing for this one all spring +summer long.

03.NO GRIT, NO PEARL.

I‘ve never considered myself a pearl girl until I discovered Galley Losangeles. Their pieces look great layered with gold necklaces. Adds a lil somethin to a simple fit. It always takes me longer to put my jewelry on than it does to do my makeup.

TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS.

I love how this trend can also translate to interiors. Muted tones, rattan, cowhide, leather, natural fiber rugs, wooden accent pieces, western prints.. That same easygoing feel with a little yeehaw.

I have several jute + cotton + textured neutral rugs if you’re wanting to bring this feel to your home. For your wardrobe, I have high-quality basics and some great pieces coming. Here to help if you want to give this trend a try or if you’re in your forever cowgirl era like me.
